A:	No. Do not respond to email requests for passwords, credit card numbers, or other sensitive data. Unisource, Abso, and other legitimate companies will never request private data via email (or phone). Use a unique password for each online account. Never reply to an email requesting your user name, password, or other sensitive information. Use a strong password that would be difficult to guess, even for someone who knows you well. Use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Yes. Through our web-based service, and Form I-9 employment eligibility verification you can validate employees’ right to work in the U.S. and proactively stay on top of changes to their status. Unisource accesses multiple government sources to ensure you receive real-time, comprehensive information.

If Unisource has prepared an employment related consumer report in your name and you would like to receive a free copy of the report(s) in your file you may contact us toll free at 800.943.2589 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Unisource provides employment related consumer reports to its clients who have contracted with us for those services. If you have not applied for employment with a customer that we serve, we will not have an employment history report on you. Unisource does not prepare consumer reports for any other purpose or for resale to unrelated parties.

The Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act) was enacted in 2003 and amends the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), a federal law that regulates, in part, who is permitted to access your consumer report information and how it can be used.
